Teladoc gives you 24/7/365 access to a doctor through the convenience of phone or video consults and is a great alternative to an Urgent Care or Emergency Room for non-emergency medical care. Teladoc doctors can diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions as well as offer guidance if more advanced medical care is needed. They can even issue prescriptions for certain health conditions. Most importantly, there is no cost to use Teladoc, and you do not have to be enrolled in Metromont’s medical insurance to use this unlimited benefit. Your eligibility to participate in Teladoc beings with your 1st day of work, and your eligible dependents (spouse, domestic partner, and children up to age 26) who are living in your household may also use Teladoc.
